Think evolution.Think of politicians who know they will become extinct (not voted in) unless they adapt to their environment.Even if they are faking it (they're politicians – they are faking it)they can and will do things that stop themselves becoming extinct.That can include burning Tony at the stake.They only need to know that the public, like evolution, will remove them without giving a damn what replaces them if they do not fit. They'll fit.

No, *now* is the time to do it. And if all those people who claim to represent Labour don't address the Blair problem by April, *then* we unleash hell on the local elections.There'll be no moaning about decent people doing good work if they fail to do necessary work – and if a vote for them further bolsters Blair.
