Our only saving grace as a nation? Well…
MediaGuardian – Sport drops one-third of readers: Sales of every single middle-market and red top Sunday newspaper have declined over the past year, with the Sunday Sport losing one-third of its readers. The Sunday Sport’s diet of naked women and sport seems to be proving a turn-off for readers, with 33.7% of the paper’s circulation disappearing over the past year – the biggest year-on-year fall in circulation of any national daily or Sunday title. In July, the Sport’s circulation was down to just 105,499 copies, from almost 160,000 copies in the same month a year ago, according to the latest ABC figures.
