A book about the alleged political views of The Sun’s famous Page 3 models under editor Rebekah Wade/Brooks.
In early 2003, The Sun’s (now defunct) Page 3 introduced a new feature titled ‘News in Briefs'; a short editorial in the name of whoever was showing their tits that day. These became increasingly political in those early months, then continued in this vein throughout the editorship of Rebekah Wade/Brooks, until 2009 (more/history).
I wrote about much of this absurdity at the time, and in considerable detail. I have now compiled the vast majority of these editorials into a single book, and many of them are complete with short texts explaining the context in which they were published.
Delightfully, this also results in a potted history of noughties Britain from the alleged perspective of a series of topless models in a tabloid newspaper, and it’s hard to see how anyone could resist that, but by all means, let’s see how you get on:
