FACT: This image is clearly faked. Iraqi children do not walk up to coalition troops and flip the bird. Instead they run after them, smiling and laughing. Because the soldiers sometimes give them candy.

8-year-old Hanan Saleh Matrud used to run out and greet British troops all the time. Until one of them shot her in the stomach. An eye witness claimed that a soldier aimed and fired from a distance of around 60 metres. The British military claimed that the girl may have been 'accidentally' killed by one of their members firing 'a warning shot'. They have yet to even apologise to her family.

To date, close to 10,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed by military intervention in Iraq. We think. (The US refuses to keep a tally of civilian casualties, even though it is the duty of occupying powers to do so under the Geneva Conventions.)
