Harried

I wish to formally distance myself from the suggestion that Anne Milton resembles Julian Clary (especially now that the two have met and Julian has wisely decided to run very fast in the opposite direction).

Truth be told, Anne Milton bears a much closer resemblance to Lauren Harries.

OK, I know what you're thinking; first I compare her to a transvestite, now a transsexual... but just take a look for yourselves before you scream the word 'homophobe':

bottle-glass, glass-bottle

Anyone know what motive lies behind Anne's bizarre pestering campaign regarding 0800 and 0845 governmental telephone numbers?

http://www.theyworkforyou.com/search/?s=telephone+numbers&pid=11603

She's asked 17 questions in parliament regarding this issue since 7th march, and so far she's accumulated data from:

Secretary of State for Work and Pensions
Chancellor of the Exchequer
Minister of State, Department for Constitutional Affairs
Secretary of State for Education and Skills
Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Secretary of State for the Home Department
Secretary of State for Defence
Secretary of State for Education and Skills
Secretary of State for Transport
Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs
Minister of State, Department for Constitutional Affairs
Secretary of State for Northern Ireland
Secretary of State for Trade and Industry
Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport
Deputy Prime Minister: Departmental Telephone Numbers
Secretary of State for International Development

How does this line of questioning benefit the people of Guildford?

Perhaps Anne is considering setting up a dedicated Anne Milton Hotline so she doesn't actually have to bother to turn up and meet her constituents in person.

Or maybe she's just trying to mount an attention-grabbing campaign on government spending to catch the eye of the new Tory leader.
