Remember when some of us were trying to ensure that Iraq was addressed as an issue during the 2005 General Election and Tony Blair responded to those efforts by (a) timing his response to suggest that it was a purely Conservative effort and (b) claiming we were playing the man and not the ball?

What laughs. Good times.

    Funny you should say that…One of my criticisms about Iain Dale's Diary is that his sock puppets tackle the man and not the ball. Then we have his stating that you are trying to police the blogosphere, and I caught him doing what he said you were doing.Then we have his yellow and red card on his rules of engagement. Perhaps, I am wrong about him? He isn't seeking to be a policeman at all. He wants to be a referee on an unlevel playing field…
