Weekends are a great time to get off your arse and do something… and we only have two weekends before the election.
Think of something to do and *do* it. This weekend.
Let’s get Iraq on the agenda.

If you’re interested, I’ll be on Radio 4 – Talking Politics sometime shortly after 11am on Saturday, discussing everything from Backing Blair to protective layers of tissue-paper for adult magazines.
UPDATE – This item has been held over until next weekend. First Newsnight, now this. It’s a good thing I’m too simple to develop a complex.
Kittens! Bouncing! Blood and gore!
Indiana Jones! Adventure! Aliens!
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Election stylee!
I’d like to begin – if I may – by taking you back a month or so, when Blair likened his relationship with voters to a troubled marriage.
Now, there are several variations of this very old and rather pessimistic joke about marital relations, but the guts of it are as follows:
There are three stages to marital sex…
And all you have to do is use one little word.
I want to see some serious Effort and Bloggage on this, folks.
Go. Do. Show.
Also, we’ve had Phase 2 of the Backing Blair posters on hold for a while, but – as The Scum have finally shown their true colours – these new posters are now live. Go get ’em, go use ’em.
Chunky bits:
BBC – Blair defiant over Iraq decision
Chicken Yoghurt – Paxman vs Blair: Bore Draw
Marrowbone jelly:
I had to wait until I got my hands on a full transcript before I blogged this funny thing I noticed…
At the head of the interview, Blair insisted that; “I don’t run a sofa style of government.”
But at the tail of the interview, Blair assured Paxman that he was standing for a full term and that he knew Brown was on board, because he and Gordon had discussed it that morning… “as we sat on the sofa together.”
No, he wasn’t joking.
Folks, I need as many people as possible to starting pointing Google in the direction of http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/
If you already link to the co.uk address, please update your links.
Cheers.
I wonder what that nice Mr Murdoch demanded got in return?
It’s W.A.R. on Rock The Vote UK from tomorrow, folks. Plus a major event from BB. I may take some time to write it up, but it’s a-comin’
UPDATE – Guido’s view; succinct as always.
Here’s some background if you need it.
UPDATE 2 – The Scum have buried Rock The Vote UK in the dead-zone of Page 2 today. Perhaps they figured that a big ‘campaign for votes’ feature alongside this ‘change’ in thinking would be a little *too* obvious. I’m also waiting to hear more from the good peeps at the original Rock The Vote. Big BB thing still being discussed.
